Plus 74 kg. plastic bottle caps

28 January

We thank Inna Pavlovna Ostrovskaya, chairperson of the condominium association at:  Pishonovskaya Street, 23 for organizing the plastic bottle cap collection drive! And the children of their entire neighborhood for their self-organization and good deeds!

Before the war, Inna saw a structure near a store "Heart" for collecting plastic bottle caps. She became fascinated with the idea of collecting them. Inna works at the university and invited students to participate in collecting plastic bottle caps. And the children began bringing bottle caps.
Inna Pavlovna got her children involved in collecting bottle caps. She bought three kilograms of candy and began exchanging 100 bottle caps for 5 candies "Little Bee". The earliest and most active participants in collecting bottle caps were: Nadezhda Savchenko; six-year-old Vlada and nine-year-old Kira Pozdnyakov; seven-year-old Timofey Muzyka and his mother; three-year-old Roma Suvorov  with his mother; six-year-old Mira Kletsor; three-year-old Mikhail Sukhovy and his grandmother.
Children from all over the district, both young and old, happily collect and bring them to Inna Pavlovna.
Elena Pavlovna Kivark, a primary school teacher at Lyceum No. 122 Five other eight-year-olds also actively began collecting and bringing bottle caps. Thanks to Daniil Kass, Daria Veselova, Alexander Kolioglo, Vladimir Tatsin, Denis Skripnichenko, and seven-year-olds Vladimir Sula and Melania Vasilyeva, who sorted the bottle caps by color.
So, from one person's initiative, a wonderful, useful project has emerged for the BENEFIT of our city and one district in particular. 74 kg of plastic bottle caps went to help seriously ill children.

ATTENTION! We remind you that lids from food products with a capacity of 0,2; 0,5; 1,0; 1,5; 2,0; 3,0 and 5,0 liters are suitable for collection: water, milk, kefir, yogurt, juice, beer, and other drinks that we use daily.
Lids from household chemicals, water coolers, toothpaste, medications, liquor, and other plastic products are not suitable.
Since March 2017 we have collected more than 27 tons of plastic bottle caps. We are continuing the collection.

Plastic — is a huge problem for our planet. Everyone can contribute to improving the environment, at least in their own area. Collecting plastic bottle caps is a simple and straightforward gesture that costs nothing, yet helps both the environment and children in need. We invite you to join the #HandfulofKindness campaign and start collecting bottle caps. Proceeds from donated bottle caps go to charity!
